Atatürk House and Museum

The founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who made his first visit to Antalya in 1930, liked the region very much and said: “Antalya is without a doubt the most beautiful place on earth.” while sitting towards the view of Beylerdağı. Atatürk, who loves Antalya very much, stays in the same mansion during all three visits. This pavilion where Atatürk was staying today serves as a museum. The historical pavilion with a quadrangular plan, which carries the texture of the old life of the city to the present day, can be seen in the room, dining room and office, where the photographs of Atatürk and various documentaries about Antalya can be viewed on the screen on the first floor and on the two floors. On the second floor there are three more sections, along with a room where personal items belonging to Atatürk are displayed. These sections, where various items were found, were used as bedrooms, meeting rooms and a study room. In addition, there is a section where old coins are displayed. Atatürk House Museum in Muratpaşa district of Antalya welcomes a large number of local and foreign visitors every year with its spiritual importance. Entrance to the museum is free of charge, which can be visited for two separate periods, summer and winter.
