Although the date of construction of the historic gate, named after the ancient city of Myndos, is not clear, the indications point to 360 BC. The Myndos Gate, which is illuminated at night and adds to the district's skyline, is also known as Diktiri.
The Myndos Gate on the walls surrounding the city is notable for its towers on both sides, with numerous vaulted tombs around it. These towers, which have reached today with their height at the time of construction, are around 50 inches by seven meters by eight meters.
