Uzunkum Beach

Uzunkum Beach

Uzunkum Beach, located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul along the Black Sea coast in the North, is one of the city's main destinations in the summer months. Along with more than a kilometre of coastline on the borders of the Balibey Borough, the beach is famous for its blue flag sea. Immaculate, less mossy sea with less rocky seabed, is an important touristic location.

The usually calm sea presents some danger in windy weather, so lifeguards are ready to serve on the beach. Additionally, it is not recommended for those who cannot perfectly swim. According to experts, it is also important to be careful in general.

Uzunkum Beach is charged for various needs such as WC, shower. Although a few, there are also some eating and drinking points. The beach also features luxury areas where there is a fee. These enterprises which stand out with their food, drink and service quality, are different alternatives at Uzunkum Beach.

On Uzunkum Beach, fine sand of yellow color stands out in general. Uzunkum Beach, which is relatively empty in summer except for special events and weekends, is one of Istanbul's favourite escape points.

Ücretsiz giriş yapabileceğiniz bir halk plajı. Oldukça uzun ve geniş olduğundan hafta sonları bile uzak noktalarında sakin alanlar bulmak mümkün.
