🚌 Public Transportation:
- From Üsküdar: Take the 15M IETT bus departing from Üsküdar and get off at the "Otağtepe" stop to reach the grove.
- From Kadıköy: Take the 14M IETT bus from Kadıköy to arrive at Otağtepe.
- From Beykoz: Take one of the yellow minibuses from Beykoz to Kavacık and reach the grove after a short walk.
🚗 By Private Vehicle:
- Via Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge: After crossing the bridge to the Anatolian side, take the Kavacık exit and follow the Otağtepe signs. Once you reach Kavacık neighborhood, continue via İnönü or Otağtepe Street to arrive at the grove.

History of Otağtepe Fatih Grove
The history of Otağtepe Fatih Grove dates back to 1453, the year preparations for the conquest of Istanbul were underway. According to legend, this area was a central point for military preparations from the time of Caliph Uthman to the era of Ottoman Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror. The name "Otağtepe" (meaning "Tent Hill") originates from the large tent set up here for the conquest. In 1997, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality landscaped the area, giving it its current appearance. Today, modern touches enrich the grove, while its natural environment remains protected.
