What is Miniaturk?
Miniatürk is a miniature park where 1/25 scaled models of various works of Turkey are exhibited. Miniaturk, which set out with the slogan 'A Small Model of the Big Country', is the showcase of Turkey and attracts the attention of both local and foreign tourists.
History of the Park and General Information
Opened in 2003, Miniatürk is the largest miniature park in the world. 15,000 square meters of the 60,000 square meter area is reserved for models. 136 architectural works are exhibited in the park, ranging from the Ancient Age to the Roman and Byzantine periods, Seljuk and Ottoman Empires.
Which Works Are Exhibited at Miniatürk?
136 architectural works exhibited in Miniatürk are collected in three main sections:
- 60 works from Istanbul
- 63 works from Anatolia
- 13 works from Ottoman Foreign Works
These works are among the most important representatives of our historical and cultural heritage. Thanks to the audio guidance system next to the works, you can get information in nine different languages.
