The Beyoğlu Teacherage, which was first built in 1883, served under the name of Grand Hotel at that time and was managed by the French people. In 1928, the historical building was transferred to the Ministry of National Education and served as an educational institution under the name of "Beyoğlu Girls' Vocational School" for a while. Educational activities were ceased due to the collapse in 1985 and the building was closed for use.
The building, which underwent a comprehensive restoration by preserving its historic fabric dating back to 1988 and was rebuilt in the concept of "teacherage", has been serving as Beyoğlu Teacherage since then. Beyoğlu Teacherage, located on Beyoğlu Tepebaşı and Meşrutiyet Street, has a total capacity of 116 beds and 54 rooms. Beyoğlu Teacherage, which also has a multi-purpose hall and restaurant, consists of seven floors.
Beyoğlu Teacherage, with its terrace overlooking the magnificent Golden Horn view, occasionally hosts certain organizations. For more detailed information about the Winter Garden Restaurant, which also serves for banquets organizations up to 250- 350 people, you may contact the person in charge of Beyoğlu Teacherage.
Beyoğlu Teacherage, which serves for honeymoon celebrations, graduation parties, group and company dinners in addition to weddings, cocktails, engagement parties and private parties, has a Lobby Cafe, sauna, winter garden, multi-purpose hall and a male and female hairdresser.
