Balibey Khan, which promises an authentic journey into the past, is among the 15th century Ottoman buildings on Atatürk Street in the heart of Bursa.
Built by the son of Nigbolu Sanjak Bey, the historic building stands out as being the only three-storey Khan in the city. Balibey Khan, with its arches and stone walls, is a historical heritage with symbolic features. The khan, which has 64 rooms, also houses shopping areas related to traditional handicrafts. The final restoration work was completed in 2009. There is also a meeting area and an exhibition hall.
On the third floor of the building, there is a café with a capacity of 200 people where you can sip your tea with a view of Bursa. In addition to offering a rich menu, the café hosts large-scale organizations, especially during the summer months, with its different sections.
Balibey Khan, one of the famous shopping and relaxation points of Osmangazi district, is among the ideal places for anyone from 7 to 70 who wants to spend a pleasant time in the city, while it is also among the indispensable points for those who want to experience the feeling of travelling between time and space in history.
