The place, built in 1807 by Huseyin Pasha, son of Hartavizade Hafiz Muhammed Selim Efendi in Harconcessionade, has been the central bazaar of Şanlıurfa for 200 years.
Hussein Pasha, son of Hafiz Mohammad Selim Efendi, built it during the Ottoman Empire... Built at the beginning of the 19th century, the bazaar soon became the heart of Şanlıurfa with its location in the center of the city and the capacity to host many shops. The bazaar full of tinsmith who shines the copper items , which are unique to Anatolia. Hüseyniye Bazaar, which brings together countless copper, silver and tin masters, serves the people of Şanlıurfa for 200 years.
Following the developing technology, the changing living conditions and shopping culture, along with the weakening of the culture of trade quilts,the public heading the brilliance in the shopping malls causes damage to the trademen in the bazaar. After the shutters that began to close one by one, the governor's office and the municipality began advertising work to restore the heart of the city.
Hüseyniye Bazaar, where there are few tradesmen staying today, is waiting for its visitors to become the pupil of the city again.
