Konya Science Center

Konya Science Center, which stands out with its short name being the first science center supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Institute of Turkey, which is TUBITAK, is located in the Seljuk district of the city. The science center, which was established with the support of various NGOs and public institutions, welcomes its visitors in a closed area of 26,250 square meters. Konya Science Center, which has a modern architectural design, is provided the necessary energy, with energy wind power plant and solar panels. At the same time, among Turkey's leading examples of 'Green Building' are the structure, including laboratories, observation tower, cruising tower, planetary house, conference rooms, library, thematic and outdoor exhibitions. The center, which aims to enable visitors to experience science in an interactive environment, is particularly the subject of students interest. Students are in fun scientific studies at Konya Science Center and meet technological developments more closely. In this way, their interest in science and technology increases, the habit of learning and suggesting new ideas is gained. Konya Science Center is in two ticket types, quite complete and student, but ultimately it can be visited with modest entrance fees.
