Atayurt

Van, which has carried thousands of years of historical heritage as one of the transit routes between Central Asia and Anatolia, is located in the east of Turkey. The Muradiye district of the city, surrounded by historical structures and natural beauties on four sides, is one of the highlights of tourism. In this context, atayurt's place between the sightseeing and tourism points in the district is undoubtedly special. Atayurt, which has the opportunity to know Central Asian culture very closely to the truth of the traces of the past; An activity area that appeals to everyone from 7 to 70, maintains values and transfers them to future generations. The tourist area around which the flag of 16 major Turkish states in history hangs, close to Lake Van and is intertwined with nature. Based on a total area of 50 acres, atayurt is based on traditional activities around 8 pastures (large Hakan tent in Central Asian culture) established with traditional understanding. In addition to the equestrian courses given by Kyrgyz Turks dressed in local clothes, trainings based on their own concepts, such as archery, handcraft, felt making, local food, Turkish culture, are offered. At the same time, traditional treats and tastes of historical origin can be enjoyed in tents.
