Zinciriye Madrasah, which was built in 1385 by The Last Sultan of Artuklu Melik Necmettin İsa, who reigned in Mardin, was built in 1385, it sheds light on the glory of history; with its secrets and symmetry. This work built by Melik Necmettin İsa, who was imprisoned in his own madrasah after fighting with Timur and his army, is different from other madrasas with both his philosophy and architectural technique...
Zinciriye Madrasah, which covers a rectangular area, is built in two floors; mosque, shrine and various additional venues. The madrasah, which fascinates those who see it, manages to be seen even from far away with its sliced domed structure. Today, the madrassa used as a Quran course has a tomb of Sultan İsa on the masjid side. Built with impeccable symmetry, it is possible to see the philosophy of 'Whatever you plant in this world, you reap it in the hereafter' philosophy under every stone! The pool, which represents the armageddon area, was built to see objects reflected from the sky in astronomy lessons. Natural sound insulation was also provided with the iwan system designed between the classrooms. But the same thing is out of the question for the inside of the madrasah and for the courtyard. These areas have a very different austic to hear the sound of azan without using amplifier.
