Slim Minaret Museum

The historical madrasah, which dates back more than 700 years, was converted into a museum in 1956. In the museum, named after its thin minaret, it can be seen many stone and wooden works from the Seljuk period and the time of Karamanoğlu Beygull.
Art tombstones, inscriptions and architectural parts of various features are exhibited in the museum, Seljuk sultan Alaeddin I Keykubat's time built stone decorations stand out.
At this point, dragon, human-headed bird harpy, double-headed eagle, lion, human figures and winged angel and dragon figures are among the striking examples. Among the works exhibited in the window are the reliefs, which are written, patterned and visual elegance, are among the important items in the museum.
In addition to the museum, doors, drawers, rahles with the Quran on it, and many other wooden works are also present. The door brought from Bayhekim Masjid is among the most valuable wooden works.
The Slim Minaret Museum can be visited between certain hours every day except Mondays.
