Here, Yakupağa Complex is one of the examples of this cultural richness. The building, located in the city center, was built in 1547 by Yakup Agha, the name responsible for the treasure during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent of the Ottoman Sultan. Almost all of the structural features of the madrasa from the high school of the period to the guesthouse are present in this monument of history. Today, it is a place where you can drink tea and coffee and enjoying the courtyard of the part of the centuries-old soup kitchen. Guests are also offered refreshments in the area, surrounded by architectural beauties made with historical cut stones. One of the best places where you can taste Kastamonu's famous çekme halva at any time of the day is Yakupağa Complex. And also soup is served in the morning. The complex, which even hosts cultural events at certain times, is among the city's must-see destinations.

20.10.2022 07:20Çok iyi korunmuş tarihi bir camii. Kaleye çok yakın. Alt tarafında çekme hekva yapan bir işletme var. Helvaları güzel. Bahçede ayrıca yöresel kumaş baskı işleri yapan dükkanlar var.

29.08.2022 07:03Yakup Ağa Camii 1547 yılında Kanuni Sultan Süleyman ın kilerci başısı Yakup Ağa tarafından yaptırılmış. Külliyenin ya da caminin bahçesinde dinlenebilir, çay içebilirsiniz. Külliyenin içersinde yapılan kastamonu çekme helvası da çok güzel.
