Kemal, who was born in 1840, began living in this mansion with his grandfather, who became governor after the death of his parents. Kemal, who grew up watching the unique view of Kars Castle for 2 years, when he reaches the 14th and lives the second milestone of his life in many different cities with his grandfather determination out. This mansion where Namık Kemal grew up, which left unforgettable works in Turkish literature, was renovated in 2011 with Unesco support. Today, one of the most beautiful values of Anatolian culture, the mansion used as a demonstration center for bards contest is a frequent destination for those who come to see Kars.
