The most interesting destination promising intimate hours with natural life in İzmir can be visited 365 days a year. Animal species neighboring each other forms Izmir Natural Habitat which serves as the basis of this pleasant excursion point.
The Natural Habitat of Izmir, which welcomes its visitors with its Kugulu Lake(Lake with Swans), displays species such as kangaroo, porcupine with arrows, capibara, giraffe, zebra, hippopotamus, ostrich and gazelle respectively.
In the place called Peking pond, birds such as pelicans and swans can be seen.
There is also a children's zoo in the Izmir Natural Habitat, where relatively small species such as pygmy goats, chickens, rabbits, turtles are included.
Llama, camels, ala deer, wild goat, red deer, birds of prey, parrots, wolves, lynx, as well as Asian elephants, tigers, Pumas and Lions can be observed in the area.
The park, which has no parking problem and stands out in the sense of getting to know its living ecosystem closely, also has shops selling souvenirs and cafeterias with large capacity. In cafeterias, fast-food foods and soft drinks can be purchased.
The entrance to Izmir Natural Habitat, where there are numerous animal species, begins at 09:00 in the morning. Closing times are different depending on the seasons. It is open every day of the week, students are not charged on school visit days, and in general, admission can be made with modest fees.
The Izmir Wildlife Park in Sasalı district is free for children aged 0-6, with disabilities and their companions, veterans and relatives of martyrs.
