The Kadri Museum of Educational History in Pergamum is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2014. This museum is established under the roof of September 14 Elementary School located within the district boundaries. In this way, Pergamon has its second museum. The Kadri Museum of Educational History of Pergamon obtains prizes in competitions held around the country. The main purpose of the museum is to present certain traces of our educational history through the building from the 1860s and to share them with the visitors. The Kadri Museum of Educational History in Pergamum aims to reflect the educational history of the district in particular. All schools open or closed in Pergamon are investigated together with the project board established for the creation of the museum. Especially the materials in the archives rooms and warehouses of the schools gain a very important value with this museum. Materials that are worth including in the museum inventory are identified by the team in these surveys and field surveys. After the necessary repair and maintenance processes, these materials will be exhibited. The museum is also the recipient of a very valuable prize under the title of innovation in education and training, and is visited with great interest, especially by young people. Schools in the area often come here in groups. Pergamon is a region with a reputation for education. The district manages to extract very important names in this sense. It is no coincidence that such a museum was established in a district like Pergamon that left important traces in education. The museum is currently housed in Block B at September 14 Elementary School. The building is said to have been built by Greeks in the 1860s. The Kadri Museum of Education History in Pergamon, opened in May 2013, is maintained by the municipality of Pergamon and the Special Provincial Administration of Izmir.
