Pergamon Kadri Museum of Educational History

The Kadri Museum of Educational History in Pergamum is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2014. This museum is established under the roof of September 14 Elementary School located within the district boundaries. In this way, Pergamon has its second museum. The main purpose of the museum is to present certain traces of our educational history through the building from the 1860s and to share them with the visitors. The museum is currently housed in Block B at September 14 Elementary School. The building is said to have been built by Greeks in the 1860s. The Kadri Museum of Education History in Pergamon, opened in May 2013, is maintained by the municipality of Pergamon and the Special Provincial Administration of Izmir.
