Türk Telekom Arena, one of the most modern stadiums in Turkey with a capacity of 52.650 people, is located in the Seyrantepe borough on the European side of Istanbul, within the borders of Kağıthane district.
The four-story Stadium, where the football team of Galatasaray Sports Club holds indoor matches, measures 190x228 meters in width and length. It is one of the largest stadiums in Turkey. It also has six restaurants, 33 buffets and six stores where products such as club jerseys are sold.
In addition to the large capacity of spectators, the stadium also has a conference room, lodges, VIP seats, disabled guests, and companion areas. Türk Telekom Arena, which has a parking area for 2,900 cars, is the only stadium in Turkey with a metro gate. There is a direct pass between the stadium and the metro station.
Türk Telekom Arena the foundation of which was laid in 2007, was opened in 2011. In the opening match, a special match was held with Ajax of the Netherlands. After this match that ended 0-0, the first goal in the history of the stadium was scored by Servet Çetin in an A-League match against Sivasspor. The club finished the same season as champions.
Türk Telekom Arena, where many championships, European victories, and successes have taken place, is one of the landmarks of the city. There is also a museum inside the stadium. Trophies, photos of legendary football players, a large number of items, and memorabilia can be closely examined in the museum.
The museum can be visited every day with a fee between 10:00 and 17:00 except on Mondays, except for the days of the domestic match and religious holidays. The fee includes a stadium tour.
