Topkapı Cultural Park is a social service with a total area of 354 thousand square meters, construction of which was started in 1999 and opened in 2009. This place is known as the first place of entrance in the city by Fatih Sultan Mehmet through the holes drilled in the city walls by the Shah's Cannons made to be poured by Fatih Sultan Mehmet during the conquest of Istanbul, and this historical area has preserved its green texture for many years. Later, the construction works of a park in the area, which was turned into a kind of flea market by peddlers and merchants, began in 1990.
In the area where the park was established, afforestation and planting works were carried out, which has 180 thousand square meters area in total, and pools and waterfalls were established therein. There were Anatolian and Thrace bus terminals here previously. Modern and social spaces have been created by using historical and cultural structures together in the park.
It stands out as a new generation architectural park with parking lots, mosques, shopping venues, pools, and children's parks. The park has a panoramic museum, an open-air theater with a capacity of 1500 people, cafes and a bicycle path in various places, large pools, mosques, and two children's areas.
