Although Celal Reşit Bey Concert Hall, located within the borders of the Harbiye district of Istanbul, was originally planned as a marriage office / wedding palace, it was later transformed into a concert hall. This venue, which has the title of being the first hall designed for classical music in Turkey, is among the biggest in Turkey in terms of its size.

The Celal Reşit Bey Concert Hall, operated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), has been actively serving since 1989. Celal Reşit Bey Concert Hall, which has made great progress in terms of artistic activities after the Turkish Opera Artist Arda Aydoğan was appointed as the director and art director, is now used for different activities such as theater, dance and opera.

The main bands actively taking the stage at the Celal Reşit Bey Concert Hall named after the famous Turkish Composer Cemal Reşit Bey are the CRR Symphony Orchestra, the CRR Jazz Orchestra and the CRR Turkish Music Ensemble. In the current form of 2020, foreign artists also take the stage from time to time in the hall where the general art director is Cem Mansur.
