Another name of the Bostancı Kuloğlu Mosque, located in the Bostancı district of Kadıköy district on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, is Bostancı Mosque.
It was built by Turkish Architect Kemaleddin Bey, one of the pioneers of the First National Architecture Movement, who was born in Acıbadem-Kadıköy in 1870 and passed away in 1927. It is also called Bostancı İstasyon Mosque, as it is located very close to the train station in Bostancı.
Despite this, the sign above the door of the mosque, which was built in 1913, was built in 1915. The main reason for this is thought to be due to the deviation of 1-1.5 years in the translations of the Gregorian and Hijri calendars.
There is also a school in the courtyard of the mosque, which is located on a very large area. This school is used as the Bostancı Public Education Center today.
Bostancı Kuloğlu Mosque, which has a single minaret and a single balcony, is quite modest and has a very aesthetic appearance with the fountain in its garden.
