Besiktas JK Museum qualified as the first "sports museum" in terms of sports history and culture of Turkey, is located within the borders of Vodafone Park, which belongs to Beşiktaş Sports Club with a 117- year history. Beşiktaş JK Museum, which is a two-storey building and spreading over an area of 1,650 square meters in total, is also the largest sports museum in the country.
Contrary to popular belief, Beşiktaş JK Museum is not only a football club museum, but also provides information about the history and culture of sports, and makes a difference with its rich collection and contemporary exhibitions that take its visitors centuries back and serves in the concept of a digital museum availing the modern technologies of today. The visiting days and hours of the museum, which also impresses with its interactive exhibits, vary throughout the year. Except Monday, the time frame is between 10.00 a.m and 18.00 p.m during the week in October until May however it is between 10.00 a.m and 19.00 p.m in June and September. Beşiktaş JK Museum, which is closed on Mondays in summer and winter, closes two hours before the entrance of the fans on the days of a football match. In addition, the entrance fees to the museum, which is closed on January 1 and the first days of religious holidays, are 25 TL, and discounted tickets are 15 TL. The people in the discounted ticket group are children aged 6- 14, teachers, citizens over 65 years of age and students. In addition, relatives of martyrs and veterans, veterans, disabled visitors, members of MMKD, TFF; FIFA and yellow press card holders and children under the age of six can visit Beşiktaş JK Museum free of charge.
