Ahmediye Mosque, another name of which is Kefçe Dede Mosque, is located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, at the corner between Gündoğan Caddesi and Esvapçı Street.
This mosque, which was built by Tersane Emini İbnül Emin Ahmet Ağa in 1722, has already overturned 200 years and still stands intact. The prayer hall, located on an area of approximately 250 square meters, was built of rubble masonry. The minaret to the left is made of cut stone.
It is said that the last congregation place was built in 1931, but in its repair in 1965, this part was removed and a new one was not made. The last congregation place of the door is a mihrab. Although Ahmediye Mosque is located on a sloping land, it has a very important architectural order.
Ahmediye Mosque, which has seven windows at the bottom and eight windows at the top, was repaired after its construction. Although it suffered a lot of damage over time, the repairs in 1861, 1885 and 1965 managed to bring it to this day. The builder of the temple, İbnül Emin Ahmet Ağa, is buried in the graveyard of the mosque.
