Jews have a 2,400-year history in Antioch. However, despite the recent decline in numbers, their religious temple sits together for worship during ceremonies or holidays in the Jewish Sinagog.
The Jewish Sinagog, which means the temple of Jews, is located on Kurtulus Street in Antioch. The synagogue is thought to have been made in 1700 . It is common thought that the synagogue has survived to this day as a charity built for relatives or acquaintances who died from members of the congregation living in Hatay in those years. It has a smaller structure than mosques and churches in Hatay.
There are seven Torahs in the Jewish Havrai, which has a manuscript prepared on 500-year-old gazelle skin brought from Nakip Mosque, a synagogue. These religious artifacts are among the must-see.
