The Greek-born Dors are shown among the interesting communities of history as a nomadic tribe. Dors, which can in one respect be associated with the nomadic, libertarian and adventurous origins of Turkish culture, is mysterious and interesting, especially for history enthusiasts.
Moreover, they inherited a touristy value with the Dor Temple they built in Hatay on Turkish territory.
The Temple of Dor is located close to the southern end of the city.
A religious structure dominated the Samandağ Plain. It is thought to have been done in the 300s or earlier. It’s underground discovery dates back to 1939, which was unearthed by American archaeologists at this time, and many artifacts were taken to this country.
The Temple of Dor, which does not escape the attention in the similarity with the Temple of Sema in Egypt, is a mystery from the little-known times of history, about 2,500 years ago... It is predominantly located in stone blocks shaped ruins. The remains of the Dor Temple, which are protected by cleaning the surroundings, can be seen today. There are also food and beverage spots nearby.
