The Cultural History Museum in Gaziantep is the most interesting museum in the city and is especially preferred by university students. The Cultural History Museum is located within Gaziantep University. As its name suggests, the museum is based on the exhibition of the cultural history of the city within various concepts and is distinguished from other museums by the variety of its concepts in question. All sections of the museum, which includes a large number of sections that can be examined into titles such as names, city life, entertainment life, special days, family, which are identified with Gaziantep, have been covered to include about 900 years from the 12th century to the present day. Therefore, the modern and systematic design of the elegant museum, which promises a rich transfer of information, is among the highlights. At the Cultural History Museum, which opened in 2009, lifestyles are transferred both with objects and with photographs and recreations. On the other hand, examples of handicrafts are among the most interesting in the museum. In addition, laboratory and even workshop parts are available in the museum. The Cultural History Museum, which generally caters to the students of the Department of Archaeology, can be visited every day of the week from 10:00-12:00 to 14:00-16:00 for free.
