Ibrahim Pasha Mosque, which is almost 300 years old in the rare city, where four seasons are of different beauty is experienced, is among the works reflecting Ottoman architecture. Ibrahim Pasha Mosque is one of the typical examples of Ottoman architecture, such as mosques for hundreds of years in the region. Construction year 1748... It, is known that the governor of Erzurum at the time, was built at the request of Yazicizade Haci Ibrahim Ethem Pasha. In a striking detail, almost at every corner it has precious knowledge, the words of the people of wisdom. Built in the name of Suleiman the Magnificent, the mosque is located in a location very close to the Old Government House in the city centre. This is one of the details that matters. Made of white marble stone, this historical building was built with a square plan and a single dome, adhering to classical Ottoman architecture. Marble was used in the altar where the imam stood in front of the congregation during the prayer and the marble stone was used in the minaret, which can be summarized as the part in a hollow.
