Mihli Falls

Canakkale welcomes domestic and foreign guests throughout the year with its natural sites as well as its historical sites. Mihli waterfall, one of the popular places of the city, is located in Küçükkuyu district. This place is also known as Mihli streamlet. On your way to Küçükkuyu, you will find the First Lieutenant District at the 5th kilometer of the road. This is also a famous promenade. Mihli streamlet, located just inside the area, fills the eye with a great variety of trees. There is also an Old Mill left over from the Greeks in the area. The mill is recently restored. Again, an arched bridge from the Roman period accompanies this mill. Mihli waterfall, one of the most popular places of Küçükkuyu in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, helps the local people cool down especially during the scorching summer days. The sky is almost invisible due to the density of trees in the area. Just a few kilometres ahead of the mill, there is a pond suitable for swimming. Mihli Falls flows into this pond exactly. Mihli streamlet, where the sounds of birds are heard all the time, attracts attention with its green vegetation and fresh air. The waterfall, which is also close to the Kaz Mountains, is on the road from Edremit to Assos. You may have problems with the lack of signs while driving your car towards the region. Entrances to the area have not been toll-free since recently. Multiple ponds are found in this area. Especially in the summer months, the area around the pond is always crowded. After leaving the Promenade, there is a beautiful footpath that leads to tea on the left side. You can take plenty of photos on this road and immortalise those wonderful moments. The area where mihli waterfall is located is a very attractive place for those interested in nature sports today.
