Tümbüldek Hot Springs

Tümbüldek Hot Springs located in the village of Akarca in Bursa are visited throughout the year, especially considering that they are good for diseases such as rheumatism. The abundance of green areas around it and the beauty of the village make this place even more attractive. In fact, this place is also used as a promenade outside of the Hot Springs. Recently, the popularity of Hot Springs began to increase well in the surrounding provinces and districts come as many people in groups.

The cold spring water here is 21 degrees and the hot spring water is 50 degrees. Both sections have chemically different properties. Investigations indicate that there is no human or animal-oriented pollution in the water. In hot springs, the male and female portion are separate. It is known that this place was converted from a bathhouse dated 1895. The original bathhouse was built by Ashraf Şeref Bey. In the later process, the bath's heirs transfer this place to private administration. In 1935, Turkish bath was purchased by Bursa Municipality. A two-domed structure is arranged around the bath and includes a variety of accommodation and recreation places.

The remains of the bath here clearly prove that the hot springs have been actively used since very old years. Tümbüldek Hot Springs can be used between 08:00 in the morning and 20:00 in the evening. It is believed that the hot springs in the district of Mustafa Kemal Pasha are good for diseases such as heart, stomach ailments, kidney stones. A significant majority of those who come here hope to cure rheumatism. There are many areas around Tümbüldek Hot Springs where you can relax. Besides using the Hot Springs, those who come to the area also have the chance to picnic with their loved ones. In this sense, Tümbüldek Hot Springs attract more visitors, especially in spring and summer. The only downside of Tümbüldek Hot Springs is that its transportation is considered relatively difficult.
