One of the leading sightseeing and entertainment areas of Bursa, Kültürpark is based on an area of 40 hectares. It is notable for its dazzling, vast green fields. It is also the first district in the city to be organized in the form of greenl field. There are over 5 thousand trees in the area.
In 1955, the city was acquired by the mayor of the period Reşat Oval, Kültürpark, in 2006, underwent revisions and has a new and modern look. Its green areas were increased by about 20 percent, with new structures added.
There is a small lake which can be visited by small ships, relaxing places where tea and coffee can be enjoyed, cafes, kiosks, restaurants and bars are also available. With its children's playgrounds, fountains, sports fields, bicycle trails, Kültürpark is located in the heart of the city. In addition, various structures such as the wedding hall, Archaeological Museum, Kültürpark Open-Air Theatre with capacity of 5 thousand spectators, and the Municipal Conservatory are also located within this large area. Adrenaline does not stop in Kültürpark which can be called the heart of Bursa; especially in the summer, the amusement park is very popular.
Kültürpark, which contributes to the socio-cultural life of the city, also hosts the International Bursa Festival held every year in the summer. This pleasant location also guarantees a pleasant time at generally modest prices.
