Sulphurous Covered Bazaar

One of the historical values of Bursa surprised by its atmosphere is the Sulphurous Covered Bazaar. The 15th century structure, which is located in the oldest section of the large-scale bazaar, today houses more than 100 shops. It admires travellers with its historical texture and eye-catching shops in the centre of jewellery.

The Sulphurous Covered Bazaar, known in historical documents as the Long Bazaar, is becoming more and more interested with its shops adjacent to the Inns, which are listed in different concepts. The source of the interest, along with the diversity presented, is the main factors in its place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Quilters, shoemakers, furniture makers and a lot of jewelry shops can be visited in the historical bazaar, which has survived to the present day.

The Sulphurous Covered Bazaar, where small breaks can be given during sightseeing and shopping, is one of the prominent places of business life in Bursa. The historic site continues to attract tourists from all over the city as well as domestic and international.
