Antalya Cultural Center

Antalya Cultural Center or ACC, abbreviated as, offers services under the leadership of Antalya Cultural Arts Center. Antalya Cultural Center, which is one of the most important cultural places of the city, started its operations in 1996. Built on an area of 9 thousand square meters, ACC has two separate halls in total. One of these halls has a capacity of 338 and the other 817 people. Both halls host period-by-period events such as exhibitions, conventions or cocktails. It is among the venues considered in the first place for many large-scale events and organizations in the city. Prestigious formations such as the Antalya State Opera and Ballet and the Antalya State Symphony Orchestra often exhibit their stage performances here. The cultural centre includes a separate dressing and relaxation area for artists, a final make-up room and a café. Not only Antalya city, but also all of Turkey's most modern, technological infrastructure, one of the most robust cultural centers of the ACC; one fire curtain, one buffle and one cinema curtain is located. The number of moving curtains placed on the walls of the hall is nine in total. The fire curtain creates a safe set between the stage and the audience area in the event of a possible fire in the Hall. The balcony portion of the Great Hall has a capacity of 125 people. Stage depth is 14 meters and stage mouth height is eight meters. The microphone layout is set so as not to disrupt the natural acoustics. Likewise, the suspended ceiling supports this process from a technical point of view. Even if no microphone is used in conference-like activities, the sound reaches the entire hall easily. It is possible to witness performances from different disciplines such as ballet, cinema and theatre throughout the year. One of the most interesting parts of the hall is the orchestra pit. The orchestra pit is controlled by an electro-mechanical control.
