The tomb of Tezveren Sultan, one of the female saints of Anatolia, is located in Ulus, Ankara. This tomb attracts attention because it stands in the middle of the street. According to legend, Tezveren Sultan was buried in the courtyard of the mosque next to the mansion after she died in the mansion where she worked as a maid. Later, with the change of city plan, the mosque and the mansion were demolished. When the graves in the mosque courtyard were being moved, the axes that were used to hit this grave broke and the shovels were bent. For this reason, this tomb is right in the middle of the street. According to the story among the people, while Tezveren Sultan was working in the aforementioned mansion, the man of the house went on a pilgrimage. In the meantime, the lady of the house wanted halva to be made. While eating the roasted halva, the lady of the house said that her husband also loved halva and sighed that she wished she were here. Tezveren Hatun, holding a plate of halva in her hand, told the lady of the house that she had brought some halva to the man. Although no one believed it, when the master of the house returned from the pilgrimage with a plate of halva in his hand, Tezveren's miracle was understood and from that day on, she began to be known as Tezveren Sultan.
