AKM Capital National Garden

The project name is Atatürk Cultural Center National Garden and the huge park, which was renamed as Capital National Garden by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was among the participants during the opening ceremony, is located in the Altındağ district of Ankara. The project, the foundation of which was laid in 2019 with the cooperation of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and TOKİ, was completed in 2 years. 94% of the national garden, established on an area of ​​700 thousand square meters, consists of green and open areas. This garden, which is like a breath of fresh air to the city with its many shades of green, includes 154 thousand square meters of wooded area, 91 thousand 400 square meters of plant and flower garden area, and 10 thousand 133 trees. Within the scope of the project, a national coffeehouse, library, art workshops were established in the park, and there is also a children's club, seed center, riding and activity meadows, sports fields, open-air cinema, tram line consisting of 6 stops, water show pool and bicycle paths. Ankara Capital National Garden, which is a multi-purpose cultural center with a large parking lot and conference hall, was opened to the public on October 28, 2021. The national garden, which will meet many social and cultural needs of the capital's residents, attracts the attention of travelers with its peaceful atmosphere.
