Şenol Güneş Sports Complex

The complex, named after the sportsman Senol Gunes, who is identified with Trabzon, is one of the landmarks of the city. The complex, which has been built in recent years as part of the modernization of stadiums in Turkish football, is located on an area of 92 square kilometers, made by filling the sea surface on the Black Sea coast. The complex, which is reported to have met the UEFA criteria, stands out with it’s total capacity of 41,461 people. Developed with a smart roof system with modern design, the stadium features VIP, protocol spectator areas, as well as press stands and handicapped sections. This popular stadium stands out with its technology. There is a fiber line, as guests are offered high-speed internet connection. On the other hand, LED billboards, video walls, nearly 400 LED TVs, interactive kiosks and monitors are available at various points in the stadium. The large greenery within the complex also stands out. Surrounded by nearly 3,000 trees, the structure is among the exemplary sports centers where green and blue are highly integrated. The complex property has a complete structure and the city's leading club, Trabzonspor, has seven more fields, including two artificial and five natural grass, as well as the stadium and green presence in which the city's leading club, Trabzonspor, plays matches. The complex, which is also home to a large parking area, is an integral part of the city skyline.
