Shalpazari is one of the historical districts of Trabzon, one of the cities of The Eastern Black Sea coast of Turkey. The previous name of the settlement during the time of Yavuz Sultan Selim, the Ottoman Sultan, was Shalpazari. With its residents producing shawl weaving on their own hand looms, Shalpazari has gradually become a recognized trading point in the region in terms of textiles and its name has been changed to Shalpazari in the 20th century. It has six neighborhoods. It's not a densely populated district, but it's definitely authentic. Surrounded by local atmosphere. It's also a tourist attraction with nature. It’s in the greenery, small and calm. At the same time, transportation is possible in a practical way. It's in the interior part of the coastline. It’s one of the pleasant escape points of Trabzon. It's definitely a tremendous area, especially for travelers close to nature and greenery. Hazelnut gardens are also worth a visit. In addition to accommodation with extremely modest prices, you can also go camping in certain areas. Shalpazari is also famous for the festivities.
