Because it harbors the tomb of a man of god called 'Haçkalı Baba', Haçka Plateau contributes greatly to the development of faith tourism in Trabzon... Born in 1864 in Hayrat district, The Haçkalı Baba. This man of god, whose real name is Mustafa Tarhan, lives a life at the center of religious teachings because his father is an imam and takes a courses in Hatuniye Madrasah. The Haçkalı Baba, who takes Arabic and Persian lessons here, is famous for his patriotism, especially since he raised awareness of the local people during the War of Independence and contributed to the fight... For many years, he became an imam and orator at Doganköy Central Mosque in Akçaabat, this love of nature overcame as he grew older and settled in Haçka Plateau and spent the rest of his life here. After the death of Haçkalı Baba in 1949, his lovers in the plateau built a shrine and mosque where his tomb is. A tree motif is embroidered on the tombstone to depict the love of nature. In addition to its natural beauty, the Haçka Plateau, visited by thousands of people every year, thus becomes the capital of faith tourism in Trabzon.
