The top of the stadium, which has a capacity of 28,965 people and is one of the largest buildings in the city, is also completely closed. Built on a total area of 26 thousand 400 square meters. The stadium, which is fully Olympic, is spread over an area of 13,600 square meters. Sanliurfa 11 April Stadium, which hosts many important matches right after its opening, first hosts Fenerbahce and Trabzon in the 2009-2010 Turkish Cup Final match. The stadium, which was launched under the name Şanlıurfa GAP Arena, goes to a name change in 2017 as Şanlıurfa GAP Stadium. Recently, Şanlıurfa is named April 11 Stadium.
