Cappadocia Art and History Museum

Cappadocia Art and History Museum, which has its own importance with its arrangement and extensive collection, is among nevşehir's prominent cultural sites. It has a special place among hundreds of museums in Turkey because it is home to 3,000 handmade babies on display in the nearly 200-year-old mansion in a small town. It promises a visual/auditory feast that is hard to believe for children in a nutshell... Yes, it's also an auditory feast... Located 30 km from Nevşehir city center and about 15 minutes from Urgup, the museum, also known as The Great Sinasos Mansion, is also famous for being the first private baby museum. Along with gifted toys from around the world, various kinds of handcrafted babies made by Sibel Radiye Ash can be seen all over the museum. Babies stand out with their thematic properties prepared with glues obtained from a plant specific for Anatolia. But not the only features offer a visual feast; At the same time, interesting topics and stories, prepared carefully, spoken out loudly about important people who have left mark on a cultural past such as Nasreddin Hodja and Mevlana. There is also a small hotel with a café serving regional breakfast and delicious food. Cappadocia Museum of Art and History, an interesting 'Doll Museum'; It can be visited every day from 10:00 to 18:00 except Mondays.
