Gebekum stands out as one of the most special places in Datça. The region, which increases in popularity during the summer months, is noted for its fine and beautiful sands. Gebekum Beach is quite suitable for taking in the wind. This leads to the development of windsurfing in the region. You can witness amateur or professional surfers surfing in the sea during the summer months. The length of Gebekum Beach, which is exactly on the road connecting Marmaris to Datca, is around 7 kilometers. You will see the ‘Haunted Mansion’ sign on the way to the beach, which is about 4 kilometers from Datca. You will find yourself on this private beach shortly after turning left from this sign. For this reason, it is even possible to walk to the island directly opposite. The sea is therefore safe for children or those who do not know how to swim. This place is also referred to as the’ fossil Dune Conservation Area'. In 2004, the beach was officially declared as a natural conservation Natural Park.
