The closeness between Turkey and Japan is on significant level... Despite thousands of kilometers of distance in the last period of the Ottoman Empire, it is known that the proximity between the countries increased considerably, and that countries sent gifts to each other. Ertugrul Frigate, meanwhile, has sadly sunk on its way back to Japan after a trip, but its results further brings countries closer. The developments bring with it an even more amicable relationship over the last 150 years. In this context, 'city brotherhood' agreements have been signed between many cities in Turkey and cities in Japan. The sister city is defined as various applications projected between cities in order to increase socio-cultural development and close relations. In this context, Kyoto Japanese Park is a result of the fraternity relations of Konya and Kyoto cities.
Kyoto Japanese Park, built on a total area of 36,000 square meters, offers a visual feast to its guests. Featuring colorful flowers, which is also home to the largest Japanese garden in Turkey, this park serves its visitors with social equipment areas such as wooden houses, restaurants and cafes, a reference to Japanese architecture.
In addition, Kyoto japanese park, where extensive activities such as weddings and invitations can be held, is located in the seljuk district of the city.
