Kars Stone Bridge

Built in 1579 durin Ottoman Sultan Murad III period, the historic Stone Bridge was made of three vaulted structures and all of which were made of smooth cutting basalt stone. Stone Bridge built on the bosphorus separating the Inner Castle Quarter and Sukapi Neighborhood in the part of Kars River flowing into the Inner Stream Quarter; Iii. It was built by Lala Mustafa Pasha at the behest of Murat III. The bridge, which has been used in this way for many years, was destroyed by a flood ingenue when the dates of 1719 showed the year in Kars. Karahanoğlu Haji Abubekir Bey, one of the great swords of the period, was rebuilt the bridge frequently used by the living society at the time. Stone Bridge, was finally the 18th. It was restored by the Regional Directorate 18th in 2012-2013. The bridge, which attracts a lot of attention from a touristic point of view, is also fascinated by its views.
