Museum of Radio and Democracy

It is one of the few museums on a global scale to feature radios. One of the museums in this scope is waiting for visitors in the Konak district of Izmir under the name of Radio and Democracy Museum. The Museum of Radio and Democracy, which has a boutique operation, is the only museum that melts the projection of the concepts of radio and democracy in the same crucible. It stands out in this aspect. It is based on restoration work on a historic house understood to have been built in the early 1900s and extensive exhibits completed in 2013. The museum collection is quite rich. About 150 radios offer a rare journey of history. And pickups and plaques are waiting to be seen all over the museum. The radio and Democracy Museum, which also hosts interactive works, also attracts attention with events on different topics held every month, with exceptions.
