Yazicizade Fountain

Although it is a square fountain on The Sarajevo Street, the hollow has a fountain. Hijri 1163-Miladi 1750, the fountain built by Ibrahim Pasha; In 1973, the side walls were repaired. In 1998, it was also replaced by Erzurum Yakutiye Municipality. Ibrahim Pasha ordered the construction of this fountain to the Office during his Erzurum Governor Period. In fact, ibrahim Pasha mosque and madrasa together with the fountain builds. Ibrahim Pasha, who also built The Fountain of Four roses, which is a little below, has also devoted many real estate by spending a lot of money to build and maintain these works. The foundation organized by the pasha himself is also on display at Erzurum Archaeological Museum. There is an Ottoman text for Ibrahim Pasha on the Yazicizade Fountain. The text also states: 1- In the name of Allah (c.c), (the most merciful and the mostgracious) We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe ? (30th verse of the enbia). 2- The great, generous, charitable (Ibrahim Pasha) has always made his property for charity. 3- His pure creation was again directed to the good charity.
