Cimcime Hatun Dome, which has a very cute appearance with its round architecture and domed structure, is not known for its construction or to whom it actually belongs. Cimcime Hatun Dome, who has come to Erzurum for many years, makes all the local and foreign tourists wonder. Although there are no inscriptions that have ever reached today, there are stories and narrations that circulate from ear to ear... According to experts, although it is estimated that it was built in the 14th century, the locals named the dome Cimcime Hatun. Although some sources have said that a woman named Firuze was lying in, some say it belongs to one of the Erzurum’s Ameer. Cimcime Hatun Dome, which is near the Grand Mosque on Cumhuriyet Street, has cylindrical plans from the outside and from the inside. The inner dome has three windows of the structure, which is conical cone-shaped from the outside. Indoor, the south window also works as an altar. The entrance part of the dome 11 round arch frames is in the north. In general, there are also rubble fillings on the wall part of the cubicle where the cutting stone is used. Cimcime Hatun Dome, which is closed with a dome inside, continues to leave those who come with all its simplicity in curiosity.
