Ceramic Museum

The Ceramic Museum is based on the fact that an old bath house dated 1904 was restored in 2013 to give it museum form. A large number of ceramics unearthed in the historical city of thousands of years can be examined closely in the museum, which was brought to tourism by the Municipality of Çanakkale. In addition to the vases, pot leaks and various items exhibited in the glassware, there are also interesting visual materials with reference to ceramic art on the walls. One of the interesting aspects of the museum, which sheds light on the ceramic history of the city, is the presence of entrance, information area and recreation areas in characteristic sections with traditional bath features today. In addition, it does not escape the attention that the bath texture is carefully preserved in the exhibition area. In this way, the service is offered in an authentic atmosphere as much as possible. On the other hand, the museum is also home to the scene of different events as well as the ceramic works on display. In this context, symposia, workshops and periodical exhibitions stand out.
