The Sayyid Usul Cultural Center, which is based on the service of the complex dated to the 15th century, is located in the Osmangazi District of Bursa, although it has been transformed into a sociocultural-based center today.
Complex, which was built by Sayyid Usul, one of the important people of the period, highlights its visual elements with emphasis on Ottoman architectural features. Built in 1555, the madrasa and the complex, which is included in a comprehensive structure, were used for residence in 1925 after serving for centuries. Several parts of it were destroyed and then arranged into lodgings. In the following years it remained residential again. In the end, the building, which has been built within the scope of the restoration works which are being carried out taking into account its authenticity, is one of the cultural meeting centers in the region today.
Bursa is an economic, social center of life that has developed following the Ottoman tradition for centuries and has been reflected to the present day, and the use of one of the oldest buildings in the city for cultural purposes is the focus of the building. In the historical atmosphere, interviews, exhibitions, signing days are organized and conversations are given.
