Lara Beach

Lara, which means ‘sand’ in Hittite language, is also the name of one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. Lara Beach, which stands out as the longest beach on Turkey's coastline, is one of Antalya's favorite tourist spots. The beach, which attracts local and foreign tourists, local people and holiday lovers from all over Turkey who are staying in hotels with a total capacity of more than 30 thousand beds in the region, is also only 15 kilometers away from Antalya Airport. Lara Beach is known for its central location, wide usage capacity, warm, clean, sandy ground and calm sea. Perhaps the only negative factor that can be counted is the weight of algae in the sea, because it is quite possible to encounter these algae in some areas. Another interesting aspect of Lara Beach is the small wooded area at its end. There is also the possibility of picnicking at this point, which includes campsites. Therefore, it is not wrong to say that Lara Beach and its surrounding area is a large area where both camping can be done and sea can be entered.
