Taceddin Sultan Mosque

Taceddin Sultan Mosque is located in the Sumer quarter within the borders of Altindag District in Ankara, close to many recommended locations such as Clock Tower, Hamamönü Houses, Mehmet Akif Ersoy House and has a special place among the historical buildings in the region.
The mosque, located adjacent to the Tomb of Tacettin Sultan and started to serve by Sultan Abdülhamit in the early 1900s, also includes various items such as fountain and hazre which have survived from much older times to the present day. The mosque and its surroundings are also preserved in general and have survived to the present day.
The interior of the Taceddin Sultan Mosque , which is a small, plain mosque, features woodwork. In addition to its longitudinal rectangular structure, the roof of the mosque is tiled and its single minaret made of stone is striking.
The Tomb of prominent Turkish politician Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, who died in 2009, is also located in the garden of the Tacettin Sultan Mosque and can be visited.
