Kürşat Parkı

Ankara is at the forefront not only with its bureaucracy-oriented spaces, but also with the places marked by natural beauty. Kürşat Parkı, one of the parks you will visit when you arrive here, is within the boundaries of Etimesgut as a location. Kürşat Parkı, opened with the efforts and initiatives of the District Municipality, has a very successful lighting. In this way, it is designed as a park that can be used safely not only during the day but until late in the evening. It is almost a place frequented by local people, especially on long summer evenings. You can see that families with children who have tea show interest here on summer evenings. The park, which has large greenery except children's play areas, occupies an area of 10 thousand square meters. The presence of rooted trees next to the ornamental pools and the pergolas add a great deal of colour to this place. The art of shaping, called ‘Topiary’, is seen to be actively used here. Illuminations used on the Star and Crescent figure are also notable. There is also a monument named ‘Monument with Star & Crescent’ within the Kürşat Parkı. On this monument, the inscription ‘Faith, Morality, Justice’ is the most important element of attention.
