Haji Musa Mosque, one of the Ottoman mosques in Ankara that has been carried for centuries, is located at the intersection of two streets in the Altindag District of the city, in the neighborhood called Demirtas. According to the information in the inscription of the mosque located in the corner, it is understood that the mosque was built by Seyfeddin bin el-Hac Musa in the 15th century.
As with many other historical buildings in the city, the mosque has a rectangular plan, with mudbrick walls on a stone foundation and a roof covered with tile. The minaret of the mosque, which is quite remarkable in its last communion place, was subsequently renovated. In the corners of the ceiling, flower motifs that are not satisfied with the course are in the foreground. There are also two badges on the ceiling. We see that the surrounding area is embroidered with colorful embroidery. The mihrab, wooden decorations, pulpit and reliefs in various parts enriched with plaster decorations are just a few of the high visual details in the interior of the mosque despite its simple architecture.
Haji Musa Mosque, which is one of the must-see works for enthusiasts with its classical period decorations, is waiting for all young and old people who want to see the historical building with an artistic value up close and to worship.
